Become a Solar PPA & Solar Roof Lease Eligible Contractor

Projects proposed for Solar PPA and Solar Roof Lease financing must be prepared and submitted by a Eligible Contractor (as defined by Connecticut Green Bank's Solar PPA & Solar Roof Lease Terms & Conditions).

Eligible Contractors may access solar PV financing under the Solar PPA & Solar Roof Lease, may be listed in the Green Bank's online contractor directory, and may access Green Bank marketing tools & support.

Contractors seeking the status of Eligible Contractor must meet all application requirements, attend a workshop, accept the Terms & Conditions, be in good standing with the Green Bank, and complete the form below. The Green Bank will determine if contractors satisfactorily meet all of these requirements.

Become a Solar PPA & Solar Roof Lease Eligible Contractor



Attend a contractor workshop.

In order to become a Eligible Contractor, your company must have attended a contractor workshop within the last 12 months.

Determine Eligibility
In order to become an Eligible Contractor, you must verify that your company is qualified. Please complete the information below to determine your eligibility.

Eligible Contractors are companies (including any related entities thereof) that have demonstrated capabilities to develop, design, construct, install, interconnect, operate and maintain commercial PV systems. Check all that apply to your company:

Company has been in business for at least three (3) years at the time of application.

Company has been responsible for the coordination, construction and installation of at least three (3) commercial scale PV systems within the last 18 months, each with a capacity greater than or equal to 50 kW (STC) and with a history of satisfactory functioning and performance;

Company is, to the best of your knowledge, in good standing with Green Bank and its capital provider partners.
Note on Eligibility

Contractors that do not meet the above criteria may still be considered based on their experience and credentials in the commercial solar business.

Application Materials
Financial Capacity – You will need to provide verifiable evidence of financial solvency and health. Contractors should demonstrate their business has sufficient financial resources to be able to meet the cash flow requirements of the Green Bank Commercial Solar PPA and Solar Roof Lease. Submit the most recent two years’ financial statements, including income/operating statement, disclosures of any litigation matters, statement of cash flows, and balance sheet. Contact the Green Bank for directions on submitting these documents.
